Introducing William Seiji Marsh
We are honored to list Bill as the owner of Luker Tiger #19. It
is his go to amp and he is proud of the patina acquired on the
natural finish due to continuous use in pursuit of his art.
William earned a bachelor of music degree in jazz studies at
the University of Oregon. He was awarded the Outstanding
College Rhythm Section Performer Award at the 2008 Reno
Jazz Festival, as well as the University of Oregon's award in
recognition for outstanding performance in the jazz studies
field. William is an educator, composer and collaborative
performer located in Eugene OR.
He is currently touring internationally with The Cherry Poppin’ Daddies and performs regularly with The
Essentials, The Joe Manis Trio, Cougar Bait, Any Permutation, the Detrick/Swigart Jazz Orchestra, the
Swigartian Arts Ensemble to name a few. In the recording studio, William has worked with
producers/engineers Billy Barnett (Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Thomas Mapfumo, and Oregon Bach Festival),
Lance Miller (University of Oregon) and Sean Flora (The Shins, Franz Ferdinand, Black Keys, and Cake).
William is also an avid circuit-bender and amateur effect-pedal maker.
